Trump’s Jerusalem Embassy: High Casualties

Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel AND the Capital of Palestine. The USA says it is only Israel’s City. Moved embassy Monday.

Within hours the US and Israel managed to cause 1250 casualties. But the death toll in Gaza is climbing toward 100 with over 3,000 casualties and escalating, some in serious condition. Hospitals are overwhelmed. This carnage resulted from clashes between Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli Defense Forces. Why? Because Donald Trump snatched the dream of a home for millions of Palestinians by destroying decades of hard diplomatic work to minimize conflict in the region. Trump trumpeted a one state solution to the Israeli-Palestine conflict and moved the USA embassy to Jerusalem on 14 May declaring it the capital of Israel before Israel had come close to solving the Palestine crisis.

Netanyahu put on a show. The USA’s embassy move to the old US Consular Office building at David Flusser St 14, Jerusalem, 9378322, Israel, was an event, yesterday.

The changing of the status of the building from consul to embassy was heralded with spectacular displays of arcing tear gas canisters and live bullet fire against tens of thousands of unarmed Palestinians, 75 kilometers away.

Trump caused a horrendous breach of the peace and gave Netanyahu an invitation to commit slaughter.

Trump stayed home and sent his daughter Ivanka and his son in law Jared Kushner instead, who said: “As we have seen from the protests of the last month and even today those provoking violence are part of the problem and not part of the solution.”  That’s the epitome of American diplomacy these days: Brain Dead.

Sadly, this will only get worse. The UN Secretary-General has repeatedly echoed the concern of the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People that there is no viable alternative to the two‑State solution, with Palestine and Israel living side by side in peace, each with its capital in Jerusalem.

Israel was on side with this scheme until Trump went to the circus and with that stupid look in his face stepped in the poop on December 6, 2017.

Among every large group of mothers there will be one who has a kid like that, the one that always has the messy, odorous dung on at least one foot. Mrs. Trump’s kid Donald seems to get covered from head to foot wherever he goes. The strange thing is that Ben Netanyahu has been jumping into the mess with Trump.

In a statement released today, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said “Israel security forces must exercise maximum restraint in the use of live fire. Hamas and the leaders of the demonstrations have a responsibility to prevent all violent actions and provocations.
With tensions high and more demonstrations expected in the coming days, it is imperative that everyone show the utmost restraint to avoid further loss of life, including ensuring that all civilians and particularly children are not put in harm’s way.”

Hospitals Face Critical Medical Supply Shortages

Hospitals report that essential medical supplies, drugs and equipment have been exhausted. Humanitarian funding and improved access is urgently needed to meet these and other existing or emerging needs.

America Can’t Be Trusted

Having just put itself in breach of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement and after 17 years of war in Afghanistan and 15 years of war in Iraq, the USA is aiming at war with Iran after unwittingly with giant missteps empowering that country in both Iraq and Syria almost surrounding Israel with its enemy.

According to the UN General Assembly Committee back in December 2017, unilateral actions such as that of the USA’s de facto declaration of implementing a one-state solution for Israel and the occupied territories of Palestine, are in flagrant violation of relevant Security Council resolutions, including resolutions 476 (1980) and 478 (1980) and most recently resolution 2334 (2016), as well as a number of General Assembly resolutions, including resolution 181 (II) and most recently resolution A/72/15.

“These decisions will only further embolden Israel, the occupying power, in pursuing its illegal actions, including its unlawful annexation of East Jerusalem, and heighten tensions, with far‑reaching repercussions and unimaginable consequences in the wider Middle East region and throughout the world.” UN Committee
