  1. In the coming days we expect to hear that the United Nations will take over the Hodeidah port in Yemen and oversee the unfettered arrival of emergency aid deliveries.
  2. American and Saudi forces will also cease fire.
  3. In particular the sky will turn back to blue as the grey darkness I have witnessed of American MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted bombers (UAVs) will return to their ships and to land based airports in Saudi Arabia and give ordinary civilians and their homes a break from the crushing they have received from America in the past three years.

At any moment the United Nations should table the draft plan for Yemen peace that Britain’s Jeremy Hunt has been circulating.

“The human cost of war in Yemen is incalculable: with millions displaced, famine and disease rife and years of bloodshed, the only solution is now a political decision to set aside arms and pursue peace. Britain has a unique position, both as pen-holder at the UN Security Council and as a key influencer in the region, so today I am travelling to the Gulf to demand that all sides commit to this process.” – 12 Nov. Jeremy Hunt Britain’s Foreign Secretary
