I am talking to you. Those families who have lost a child to Measles cannot be blamed. They must not blame themselves. It is understood that people became afraid of vaccines because of bad-talkers (chismis) but now families know that vaccines work. Trust your doctors, Pinoys.

The outbreak started in 2017. All through the Dengue-Vaccine-Scam in 2018 there was a fear of vaccines in general and too much bungangera. Scammers cause chismis. 

Nobody paid much attention to the growing number of Measles cases until the patients were crowding the parking lots of Manila in hospital overflow tents.

According to the report, up to 24 April 2019, 5,379,927 Filipinos have been vaccinated against measles and rubella: 3,512,350 aged 6-59 months (2% short of goal at 93% of the target population of 3,784,099). Hooray for Pinoys.
