War between USA and China heats up outside of trade talks.

  1. In the South China Sea and in the Taiwan Straits, American Coast Guard and American Navy war ships are pushing into China’s territorial claims with Freedom of Navigation exercises that include combat exercises on the water and in the air as a show of force against the Chinese.
  2. A Russian warship almost collided with an American warship in the South China Seas. The US has released a video.
  3. Meanwhile someone has stirred Hong Kong students to riot violently in the streets against Beijing over extradition laws. Hong Kong is strongly aligned with the USA which says that Chinese extradition law is not in its favour.
  4. The United States companies formerly doing business with communications giant Huawei Technologies have abruptly stopped.
  5. Google has banned its version of the Android operating system from being used on Huawei phones.
  6. Even Microsoft will not allow its Windows operating system to be used on the Huawei Laptop which it says it will now suspend.
  7. America has forced Canada to arrest and detain for extradition the daughter of the founder of Huawei.
  8. The United States has pressured countries around the world to stop doing business with China.
  9. The White House has imposed unilateral sanctions against China that will hurt the American people and deprive American poor of the availability of inexpensive goods.
