Accolades to Trump for Meeting Kim Jong-un in DPRK



Today Donald Trump in a short notice engagement, met with DPRK Chairman Kim Jong-un in North Korea just across the border in the demilitarized zone.

Both leaders, Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, spent 45 minutes together chatting on substantial topics. They concluded saying that peace talks between the two countries were now going to continue having fallen apart in Hanoi in February.

Much credit for today goes to Moon Jae-in, President of South Korea, since 2017. Mr. Kim and Mr. Moon have begun a friendship that has inspired the people of Korea, north and south, and the world wants to see this beautiful beginning, continue.

In a recent meeting with Vladimir Putin, the Russian President stressed the importance of keeping the commendable efforts of the leaders of the North and South of the Korean peninsula on an energetic roll, and their friendship dialogue, alive and forward-looking.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has also expressed a keen support for Moon Jae-in and Kim Jong-un to continue finding common ground to the benefit of all Koreans.
