Canada’s economy, Justin Trudeau’s career and his Liberal Party are all seriously threatened by US President Donald Trump.

The Botched and Illegal Kidnap of Meng Wanzhou
Firstly, Sabrina (Wanzhou) Meng is the chief financial officer of a high-tech giant company, Huawei Technologies.
Huawei has surged so far ahead of world competition in the infrastructure innovation of 5G – AI – IoT that the United States cannot possibly catch up.
Hence, America is acting unscrupulously around the world to try and kill Huawei while it launches its own 5G infrastructure program.
Canada has been convening meetings of the American-led Five-Eyes Anglosphere spy group wherein one meeting held 17 July 2018, a decision was made to go after Meng Wanzhou for an alleged Power Point presentation she made to HSBC bank.
The United States, which incarcerates more people than any nation on the planet, wants to put Meng Wanzhou, who is the daughter of the founder of Huawei, Ren Zhengfei, in prison in America.
The United States issued an extradition treaty request to Canada to detain and hold Meng Wanzhou in Vancouver. Ms. Meng was on a flight from Beijing to Mexico with a stopover in Vancouver.
Ren Zhengfei, Huawei founder, in a first of its kind interview with the BBC, described the arrest of his daughter Meng Wanzhou, the company’s chief financial officer, as politically motivated.
Meng Law Suit Alleges Serious Charter Violations
Canada’s border services agency allegedly broke the law when CBSA detained Sabrina Meng without arrest in order to extract from her information it intended for court use but “did not believe would be obtained if the Plaintiff was immediately arrested”, says a notice of action filed in the British Columbia Supreme Court on Friday.
“This conduct is unlawful if the accused was not read her Constitutional rights in Canada and may be grounds for dismissal in some cases if the information obtained is crucial to the defence of the accused”, say FPM.news lawers.
Lawyers for Meng Wanzhou told The Guardian that CBSA “under the guise of a routine customs” examination did “compel her to provide evidence and information”.
We learn from the Meng lawsuit that allegedly Meng Wanzhou was interrogated for three hours before being read her rights and finally arrested.
The Prime Minister’s Office broke the laws of the country in order to detain a Canadian Citizen in transit from China to Mexico. Why?
SNC-Lavalin Matter vs Meng Wanzhou Extradition
The two matters are not only completely unrelated despite what clamouring pundits may say, they have nothing in common. But the two matters prove unequivocally that the Liberal Cabinet members and the Prime Minister’s Office communicate in a political context about matters before the Court.
That is not to imply that there is fault in that. That’s their role as politicians, to be apprised and to make decisions about other related sensitive matters. Canadians wouldn’t want to see the Department of Justice charging a person with war crimes while the Department of National Defence is throwing a party and parade for the accused, hence total communication is mandatory.
Canadian courts are truly impartial to government suggestion and influence. The Supreme Court of Canada described the concept of judicial “impartiality” as referring to “a state of mind or attitude of the tribunal in relation to the issues and the parties in a particular case”. But to suggest that the Meng Wanzhou case is not political is preposterous.

Why Break Canadian Laws to Favour Trump’s Agenda?
What does Trump hold over Trudeau’s head?
- The trade agreement; and
- hefty tariffs that could kill Canada’s economy.
FPM.news staffers who have worked on the Meng Wanzhou story have heard from many sources who strongly suspect that Trudeau ordinarily would have rejected the Meng Wanzhou extradition case because of its questionable legitimacy and its enormous political implications and effrontery to China and to a million or more Canadian voters.
Even John McCallum, the highly-respected and seasoned Liberal politician who left his post as a Cabinet Minister to become Canada’s Ambassador to China said that, “I think she [Meng Wanzhou] has quite good arguments on her side… One, political involvement by comments from Donald Trump in her case; two, there’s an extraterritorial aspect to her case; and three, there’s the issue of Iran sanctions, which are involved in her case, and Canada does not sign onto these Iran sanctions.”
According to a report and video from Reuters, Trump says he could intervene in U.S. case against Huawei CFO.
FPM.news has heard US and Chinese sources speculate that this is actually a possibility although not a high priority.
The Meng Wanzhou and SNC-Lavalin cases threaten unjustifiably Justin Trudeau’s political career because in each case he believed he was acting in Canada’s best interest. In the matter of Lavalin, the employees of the company deserve to be protected from the “reprehensible conduct” of ex-employees. But in the case of Meng Wanzhou it is a matter of supporting a wrongful American bullying of a Chinese corporation in exchange for certain considerations related to the updated North American Free Trade Agreement which the US has already violated with punishing trade tariffs. Trump has said “cars will be next”.
Is Trump Blackmailing Justin Trudeau?
In order to get Justin Trudeau to tow the line on an allegedly very questionable non-Constitutional, non-Charter arrest of Meng Wanzhou, Trump has threatened the Canadian Prime Minister with something of a very serious nature.
Justin Trudeau has been walking on eggs as Trump’s insults spew.

Donald Trump DID ONCE have Trudeau over a barrel on the USMCA talks. Now it is worse.
The USA Mexico Canada trade agreement (USMCA) negotiations Canada was bullied into, caused Trudeau and his Cabinet no end of grief. Trudeau was bullied publicly almost weekly by Donald Trump.
- Trump threatens to leave Canada behind on NAFTA, warns Congress not to ‘interfere’ – Washington Post
- Trump Berates Canada and Threatens Car Tariffs as Nafta Talks Falter – The New York Times
- Trump threatens to exclude Canada from new Nafta deal – The Straits Times
- Part of Trump’s blackmail leverage over Justin Trudeau, may no longer be valid as the Mexican President has today, threatened he will not ratify the agreement.
- Killing NAFTA may not be something Trump can do without Congress, but he did it anyway. Trump said he began the six month process to terminate NAFTA.
- Forty Congressional Republicans urged Trump against signing a deal that contained “the unprecedented inclusion of sexual orientation and gender identity language”. Republicans opposed the USMCA provisions requiring labour rights for LGBTQ2 and pregnant workers hence Trump signed a revised version of the agreement. Canada didn’t.
The Messy USMCA/CUSMA
United States government release by the Trump Administration.
“Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, the United States has reached an agreement with Mexico and Canada in the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is a mutually beneficial win for North American workers, farmers, ranchers, and businesses. When finalized and implemented, the agreement will create more balanced, reciprocal trade that supports high-paying jobs for Americans and grows the North American economy.”
Canadian government release by the Trudeau government of Canada.
“On November 30, 2018, Canada, the United States and Mexico signed the new Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), on the margins of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Buenos Aires. Parties will now undertake their domestic process towards ratification and implementation of the CUSMA.” |
The NAFTA and CUSMA agreements may soon be scuttled.
Canada’s economy, Justin Trudeau’s career and his Liberal Party are all seriously threatened unless Donald Trump deigns to push through the agreement by settling all disagreements.
