Jews are furious at Canadian homage to Waffen SS Soldiers

During Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Ottawa on Friday, the House honoured 98-year-old North Bay resident Waffen SS Yaroslav Hunka calling him a war hero. Maybe he was a hero but not to me, a Jew. His likely role was to slaughter Jewish families as part of the Final Solution to exterminate Europe’s Jews. He certainly was elbow-to-elbow with those who did those crimes.

Waffen SS Yaroslav HunkaYaroslav Hunka or whatever his real name might be, was a 4th Waffen SS Division Galicia officer in Hitler’s death camps, and/or may have served on the front line against Russians, as part of the combat branch of the Nazi Party ‘s paramilitary Schutzstaffel (SS) organization. The person known as Yaroslav Hunka, allegedly slipped into Canada using the ubiquitous ruse of being attached to a non-existent Ukrainian Liberation Army.

Is this a deliberate Trudeau Stab at the heart of Russians, 25+ millions who lost their lives to the Nazi mass crimes in Russia? Well, it is also an attack on every Jew in the world.

There is no such thing as the Ukrainian Liberation Army but according to the Simon Wiesenthal Center, many Nazis escaped to Canada after WWII claiming to be part of the Ukrainian Liberation Army. The fact of there being a collective of this fake “Army” gave it credence and the hunters of Nazi war criminals were stymied in their search for the remainder of the Hitler campaign against Jews.

National flag and merchant ensign of Germany from 1935 to 1945 and the flag flown by 4th Waffen SS Division Galicia to which the person known as Yaroslav Hunka  allegedly served. Note: The Reich Flag Act of 1935 (Reichsflaggengesetz vom 15.9.1935) stipulated that the “Reich- and Merchant Flag” was to be depicted with the disk slightly shifted to the flag pole (RGBl. I (1935) No. 122).

One must wonder if a couple thousand Nazis responsible for the extermination of Jews have changed the perception at all of the members of the Jewish faith and if the attacks on Synagogues have any relationship to the fact that Canada probably has a huge population of Anti-Semitics with Jewish family blood on their hands.

The Ukrainian Liberation Army was an umbrella organization created in 1943, providing collective name for all Ukrainian units serving with the German Army during World War II. A single formation by that name did not exist. Wikipedia

“The Holocaust in Ukraine was the systematic mass murder of Jews in the Reichskommissariat Ukraine, the General Government, the Crimean General Government and some areas which were located to the East of Reichskommissariat Ukraine—all of those areas were under the military control of Nazi Germany.”–-Wikipedia

“During the Nuremberg Trials, the International Military Tribunal declared the Waffen-SS to be a criminal organization responsible for mass atrocities including the “persecution and extermination of the Jews, brutalities and killings in concentration camps, excesses in the administration of occupied territories, the administration of the slave labor program, and the mistreatment and murder of prisoners.”

“After the war, thousands of SS Galichina veterans were allowed to resettle in the West, around 2,000 of them in Canada. By then, the unit was universally known as the First Ukrainian Division.

“A blog by an association of its veterans, called “Combatant News” in Ukrainian, includes an autobiographical entry by a Yaroslav Hunka that says he volunteered to join the division in 1943 and several photographs of him during the war. The captions say the pictures show Hunka during SS artillery training in Munich in December 1943 and in Neuhammer (now Świętoszów), Poland, the site of Himmler’s visit.”
