Israel and USA prepare ground assault into Gaza as UN Sec Gen releases statement

Thick black smoke is pouring out of Gaza as the extermination of the Palestinians continues. Only a couple hundred thousand have been displaced as yet according to official reports in the morning but much has changed since.

Secretary Blinken has landed and U.S. Military weapons and ammunition are pouring into Israel to enhance Israel’s killing power in Gaza.

All infrastructure in the Gaza strip is shut down according to Behar Abbasi who is working across three of the twenty hospitals as a specialized surgical nurse practitioner.

On 10 October 2023, the UN released a statement saying that, “there is already clear evidence that war crimes may have been committed in the latest explosion of violence in Israel and Gaza, and all those who have violated international law and targeted civilians must be held accountable for their crimes.” The statement is to be credited to the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and Israel.

Statement to the press by António Guterres 12 Oct.

12 October 2023

Statement to the press by António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, on the situation in the Middle East in the Press Briefing Room. “I have been closely following dramatic events in Israel and Gaza. I will never forget the images of the supercharged cycle of violence and horror. I am in continuous contact with leaders in the region with an immediate focus on several key priorities. We must avoid spillover of the conflict. I am concerned about the recent exchange of fire along the Blue Line and recent reported attacks from Southern Lebanon. I appeal to all parties – and those who have an influence over those parties — to avoid any further escalation and spillover. I call for the immediate release of all Israeli hostages held in Gaza. Civilians must be protected at all times. International humanitarian law must be respected and upheld. About 220,000 Palestinians are now sheltering in 92 UNRWA facilities across Gaza. UN premises and all hospitals, schools and clinics must never be targeted. UN staff are working around the clock to support the people of Gaza and I deeply regret that some of my colleagues have already paid the ultimate price. Crucial life-saving supplies – including fuel, food and water — must be allowed into Gaza. We need rapid and unimpeded humanitarian access now. I want to thank Egypt for its constructive engagement to facilitate humanitarian access through the Rafah crossing and to make the El Arish airport available for critical assistance. There is no time to lose. Every moment counts. Thank you.”

Ambassador Riyad Mansour, the Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations

12 October 2023 Transcript

Press conference by Ambassador Riyad Mansour, the Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, on the situation of civilians in Gaza. Palestine Ambassador Riyad H. Mansour today (11 Oct) said, “peace would require that the Israeli side to recognize that we exist, and we are humans, and we have national rights and aspirations,” while the representative of the League of Arab States, Majed Abdulfattah Abdulaziz, added that “if Israel believes that military action is going to settle the Palestinian question, they’re wrong.” It could have happened in 2006, with the attack on Lebanon, 2008, 2014. Many other times that attacks have happened, and it led to no results. The Palestinians are adamant, and the Palestinian question and Palestinian issue remains a central issue for the League of Arab States and for all the Arab countries, despite everything that is happening, whether it is Abraham Accords, whether it is any other developments in the political track.” Mansour said, “the situation is extremely horrific against our civilian population that destruction is beyond imaginations,” adding that “the whole world is seeing that that catastrophe that is befalling on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.” The Palestinian Ambassador said, “we will continue the contact with everyone, including the Security Council, so that the international community to shoulder its responsibility and stepping to the picture and in putting an end to this onslaught against our people.” He said, “there has to be a humanitarian intervention in order to avoid a looming catastrophe.” Mansour said, “we we’ve been in that situation so many times before, and those who thought that – Prime Minister Netanyahu said it more than one time – the Palestine question is behind us, the Palestinian problem is finished, the Palestinians are behind us. So that if you keep repeating that, expecting different results than what you’re receiving, which is more and more of tragedies and pain and hatred and deepening of the conflict, then you are delusional, you are not living reality.” He said Palestinian national rights and aspirations “should be fulfilled, and there is global consensus on them, the two-state solution, and people to live in peace and harmony as good neighbours, which would require the end of occupation.” For his part Abdulaziz said, “Palestinians are adamant, and the Palestinian question and Palestinian issue remains a central issue for the League of Arab States and for all the Arab countries, despite everything that is happening, whether it is Abraham Accords, whether it is any other developments in the political track.”

Updates from Behar Abbasi and her team of three nurses in Gaza

“We have heard reports America is sending special teams into Gaza to search and destroy Hamas command installations and bunkers according to sources in Washington and in Tel Aviv,” reports Ms. Abbasi.

“Some have described the assault from Israel’s Navy, army and Air Force as being carpet bombing. Indeed bombs are being dropped, naval guns are firing into Gaza and army artillery is pummeling the Gaza strip.

“According to the special UN rapporteur, Israel is violating international law by shutting off all necessities of life for the citizens. The people of Gaza have the right to resist subjugation.

“Hamas, a non-state actor is seriously violating the rules of war by attacking civilians and taking hostages. Hamas as a non-state actor is unable to argue self-defence and is not in any way acting for the Palestinians.”

“We are getting messages to the Palestinian Authority to open immediate humanitarian corridors via Egypt and via seaport

IDF Tortures Hamas

Like a scene of Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse, these 10 people are hamas fighters captured by the IDF and obviously tortured. The Nurses without Borders and RINJ Women have scores of images consigned by patients in Gaza and in the West Bank of similar atrocities. Photo is verified by the witness.
