“I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed. I’m sure innocents have been killed,” Biden said despite the rows and rows of body bags and the reports of hospital administrations.
US President Joe Biden and Israel’s accused criminal Benjamin Netanyahu are accused of being “The Butchers of Gaza” causing over twenty thousand civilian casualties, some 6,000 deaths mostly children, women and the elderly. Over 20 journalists have been killed in Gaza as have 35 United Nations workers been killed by Israeli indiscriminate bombings.
“I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed. I’m sure innocents have been killed,” Biden said. But most of the data is coming from hospitals and from the United Nations which is housing over 600,000 Palestinians in overcrowded facilities without fuel, without electricity, with no food supply, and no water because of Israel’s war crimes, starving the people of Gaza in its war against the Palestinian civilians.
Biden, who has repeatedly endorsed the Gaza Genocide taking place in Gaza was asked by a reporter if he has asked for assurances of his co-accused Netanyahu that the Israeli ground offence would be delayed until the civilian hostages have been released, something which Hamas has offered to do.
“No,” Biden said. “What I have indicated to him [Netanyahu] is that if that’s possible to get these folks out safely, that’s what he should do. It’s their decision but I did not demand it. I pointed out to him, if it’s real, it should be done.”
“Lawyers at the Center for Constitutional Rights issued the dire warning to President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in a 44-page emergency brief on Wednesday, on the heels of Biden’s trip to the Middle East. There, Biden reiterated his administration’s unwavering support for Israel — even as the Israeli government wages an unprecedented bombing campaign on the occupied Gaza Strip in retaliation for a horrific attack by Hamas that killed more than 1,400 Israeli citizens.” (citing The Intercept)
The criminal case of Genocide against Biden, and others
“There is a plausible and credible case, based on powerful factual evidence, that Israel is attempting to commit, if not actively committing, the crime of genocide in the occupied Palestinian territory, and specifically against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
“The gravest of crimes under international law,” says the document, “genocide refers to specific actions—such as killing or deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of the group in whole or in part – taken with the intention of destroying, in whole or in part, the group targeted, including on ethnic or national grounds.”
“...Like both Palestine and Israel, the United States is a signatory to the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, the first human rights treaty adopted by the United Nations General Assembly and considered the building block of the international human rights system.”
The Genocide Convention places a duty on all 153 signatories to both prevent and punish genocide.
“The Convention criminalizes not just the commission of genocide, but incitement and attempts to commit genocide, as well as complicity in genocide, which is discussed below in detail. Israel, the United States, and indeed, all States, must immediately comply with their obligations under the Convention.
“The United States has been obligated, from the time learning of the serious risk of genocide of the Palestinian people, to exercise its influence on Israel to prevent the crime. The United States is not only failing to uphold its obligation to prevent the commission of genocide, but there is a plausible and credible case to be made that the United States’ actions to further the Israeli military operation, closure, and campaign against the Palestinian population in Gaza, rise to the level of complicity in the crime under international law,” according to the document, Israel’s-Unfolding-Crime.
