Year after year hero Aleksander is there, regardless of unprecedented security for 9 May 2023 Ceremonies in Moscow
Following a drone assault on the Kremlin last week, an alleged attempt on Vladimir Putin’s life, the solemnity and regalia of this year’s 9 May “WWII Victory Day Celebration” was unchanged, spectacular and emotional for hundreds of attending elderly veterans and their families. It was for those veterans the world watched, as Russia said thanks to her veterans.
Attending in Red Square were today over 550 veterans of the World War II defeat of Nazi Germany including some of those brave soldiers who stormed into West Berlin knocking down the Nazi regime that slaughtered over 25 million Russians during the Nazi onslaught beginning in 1941.
Dozens of state leaders and diplomats as well as Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin were surrounded by enormous plain clothes and uniformed security details. And there sat Aleksander.

Some of the senior veterans of what Russians call ‘the great patriotic war’ were greeted by Vladimir Putin, the world’s most seasoned statesman and certainly a revered supporter to these veterans whom RF President Putin has never forgotten.
Russia said, “Never Again” and has stuck to that with the same kind of determination that China shows in the defence of its territorial sovereignty.

Meanwhile neutral observers of the America / Russia conflict say they “deplore the malignant warring conduct of both sides. But it’s a David and Goliath fight and when David gets his licks in, the cheers might come unmuffled. There is a hint of that in the air today.”
Having lost 25-27 million countryfolk to the Nazis in WWII, there is nothing anyone can say to redeem the cause of fascism for a Russian. The 9 May 2023 wreath laying for the unknown soldiers of WWII was a touching moment for the hundreds of veterans whose service 78 years ago ended World War II.
“Anyone who denies that Ukraine has a severe Nazi problem has been brainwashed vehemently by the Biden Administration’s lies and propaganda and has never been to Donbass. America has been shelling the people of Donbass for some eight years using American supported and American armed Azov Nazi militia,” said Dale Carter of The RINJ Foundation.

“I have nothing against Russian nationalists, or a great Russia,” said Dmitry, a Nazi member of the Azov brigade, as we (local humanitarian worker) sped through the dark Mariupol night in a pickup truck, a machine gunner positioned in the back. “But Putin’s not even a Russian. Putin’s a Jew,” said that Nazi back in 2014.
