America and China are dangerously straying from the proper standards for global disease epidemiological data sharing.

USA CDC conceals facts around XBB 1.5 spread in the USA and that the variant is vaccine-immunity evasive.

On 29 December 2022, Dr. Eric Feigl-Ding reported CDC data he obtained from unrevealed sources to him showing that XBB.1.5 was already dominant in America. The CDC then updated its COVID-19 variant dashboard with the exact data that Dr. Feigl-Ding reported.

“I am inclined to favour the Beijing decision to withhold epidemiological data from the political side for fear of data being used against the country, but I am ashamed that the scientific side of the USA and China governments did not persuade leaders that the cost in lives, esteem, respect and the cost in commerce is monumental, harming 2 billion or more people. Every country has a responsibility to support the well-being of all humanity. Pandemic diseases fall square into that responsibility. What China and America are doing now is fueling the worst gain-of-function disinformation nonsense that these two countries have been accused of doing since Late 2019 as regards COVID-19,” she added. “Transparency is urgently called for.
