Shireen Abu Akleh assassination is apartheid impunity icon

“Benjamin Netanyahu is a criminal, a war criminal and a criminal against humanity. Murdering the woman you don’t like is a crime. Murdering a woman journalist in a war zone is a war crime and should be seen as a crime against humanity. Under Benjamin Netenyahu’s watch, this is what has happened on 11 May 2022 and too many other times. There must be no forgiveness nor impunity for these crimes,” writes Katie Alsop, Executive Director of The RINJ Foundation.

“I chose journalism to be close to people. It might not be easy to change the reality, but at least I can bring their voices to the world. I am Shireen Abu Akleh.”

“This disturbing icon of impunity for apartheid crimes against the Palestinian people in the West Bank cannot stand. It must be erased, then future historians can report the events of 11 May 2022 as what they are, a crime against humanity,” opined Dr. Nassima al Amouri of the RINJ Foundation who was there in the West Bank at the material time of the heinous crime, the pre-meditated murder of Shireen Abu Akleh, another matter that has been submitted to the International Criminal Court.

Dr. Nassima was in Poland this weekend for a meeting with several executives of the RINJ Foundation during which meeting she introduced a concerned party who is donating cash rewards for information confirming the names of the persons involved in the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh. Dr. Nassima was accompanied by a woman who heads the private security contractor providing safety for humanitarian workers in Israel and Palestine.
