This week’s trip to Russia by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was his first as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and this is of great symbolic importance said Vladimir Putin two days ago.
In the first meeting with Iranian President Pezeshkian on BRICS sidelines, Xi Jinping stressed the Gaza Genocide ceasefire should occur at the earliest possible date.
Moreover China’s President Xi Jinping pledged to deepen relationships with Iran during his first meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Thursday as President Xi knew the growing fears of an all-out war in the Middle East.
“Regardless of changes in the international and regional situation, China will unwaveringly develop cooperation with Iran,” Xi Jinping shared his thoughts with President Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the 16th BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, according to statements of both countries.
“China supports Iran in safeguarding its national sovereignty, security and dignity, steadily advancing its economic and social development, and improving and deepening its good neighbourly relations with neighbouring countries,” China’s foreign ministry quoted the Chinese leader saying.
Moments ago, Iranian officials told Grace Edwards on her third phone call inquiry that, “Iran reserves the right to retaliate”. Ms. Edwards said she believes from her position in Tehran at the moment this means “wait and see”, she said
Ms, Edwards left the call for a moment and came back to say that she just got word that there will be no further attacks and that it was believed that most if not all attacking munitions were destroyed by the Iranian and Russian air defence systems which generally are world-renowned systems.
Experts say they are still worried.
Defence and Security analyst Simon Baldock in Tel Aviv said in a phone call that people in Tel Aviv are terrified that the Netanyahu government has created too many morbid risks for the Israeli people by attacking too many nations creating a big list of angry enemies and that “many people plan to flee Israel to America, Germany or Britain.”

As the Saturday morning sun rose in Tehran, decisions are being made. Joe Biden threatened Iran from Germany saying he knew when and how Iran would be attacked next. Iran said he would pay a price if that happened.
