World in hot water. Kremlin may be reaching a boiling point

Fifty-five countries push Russia deeper into war in Eastern Europe as NATO closes-in tight on the borders of “The Motherland”. Vladimir Putin is now in a nuclear-safe bunker, allegedly avoiding an influenza outbreak in the Kremlin after beginning a process to change Russian policy on the use of nuclear weapons according to several sources.

The following video should be viewed by every adult, including students, around the world. The stunning reality seen by scholars buried within academia is worth knowing as a counter to the jabberwocky being spewed by the Anglosphere’s one-sided so-called news reportage, fed by disingenuous politicians following like sheep, administrative lines fed by warmongering profiteers.

Professor Jeffrey Sachs, economist, director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University and president of the U.N. Sustainable Development Solutions Network speaking to host Amy Goodman said on 6 December, “This war needs to end because it’s a disaster for everybody, a threat to the whole world.”

“I think both sides see that there is no military way out, comments Professor Sachs in the above video recorded on 6 December 2022.

“I’m speaking of NATO and Ukraine on one side and Russia on the other side. This war, like von Clausewitz told us two centuries ago, is politics by other means, or with other means, meaning that there are political issues at stake here, and those are what need to be negotiated,” he added.

What President Macron said is absolutely correct, that President Putin wants political outcomes that, in my view, absolutely can be met at the negotiating table. Just to quote what Macron said in another interview, he said, “One of the essential points we must address”—meaning we, the West—“as President Putin has always said, is the fear that NATO comes right up to its doors, and the deployment of weapons that could threaten Russia.” Much of this war has been about NATO enlargement, from the beginning. And, in fact, since NATO enlargement to Ukraine and Georgia were put on the table by President George W. Bush Jr. and then carried forward by the U.S. neocons basically for the next 14 years, this issue has been central, and it’s been raised as central. But President Biden, at the end of 2021, refused to negotiate over the NATO issue.

“But now is the time to negotiate over the NATO issue. That’s the geopolitics at stake. There are other issues, as well, but the point is, this war needs to end because it’s a disaster for everybody, a threat to the whole world. According to European Union President Ursula von der Leyen last week, 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers have died, 20,000 civilians. And the war continues. And so, this is an utter disaster, and we have not searched for the political solution,” says Professor Sachs.

Back in May, Dmitry Kiselyov claimed that a strike by Russia’s Poseidon nuclear underwater weapon could drown the UK under a 500-metre tidal wave of radioactive seawater.

Vladimir Putin has recently explained three important things:

  1. Russia has more impressive, more dangerous nuclear weapons than in anywhere in the world,
  2. Russia’s nuclear weapons policy is reactive but now the Russian Federation contemplates a US-type policy of “first strike”, and
  3. because the West has been striking with weapons deep into Russian territory in no way connected to the civil war in Donbass, drastic actions are pending because a red line has been crossed.

How much of this is true and how much is pure propaganda is unclear but circumstantially, it appears 100% reliable. Few people in the West understand clearly just how ruthless, Vladimir Putin can be.

The West could have and should have prevented this war in November and December 2021 by dealing with the Ukrainian’s rights to self-determination and solving Russia’s security concerns related to NATO expansion to its borders, is what many scholars believe.

16th American war since 1980 may still go nuclear by Christmas But, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in an interview published  last week that his fear of nuclear war has dissolved.

“Russia has stopped threatening to use nuclear weapons. As a reaction to the international community marking a red line,” said Scholz who was referring to American threats to destroy Russia with its own nuclear weapons if Russia used nuclear devices in Ukraine.

On the subject of Germany’s reliance on Russian fossil fuel Chancellor Scholz said, “We are now making the necessary decisions to become independent in the long term. From 2045 onwards, we want to be completely climate-neutral and generate our energy entirely without natural gas, coal or oil.”
