Germany could prevent immense suffering this winter with Nord Stream 2

  • Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, and the Vice-Chancellor will visit Canada for 3 days, starting Sunday, in particular, Montréal, Quebec, Toronto, Ontario, and Stephenville, Newfoundland, between 21 and 23 August  2022. He is urgently seeking a solution to a catastrophic future energy shortage.
  • NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg has been sent to Canada to micro-manage Trudeau and any non-USA trickle-down from the total German leadership’s visit as tensions between Germany and the USA soar to severe heights, say people familiar with the matter who were not authorized to comment and requested anonymity.
  • German senior politicians are pushing hard for a restart of the Nord Stream 2 which essentially is what the war provocations are all about, ending Russia’s dominance in the European energy sector.

Sounding like a White House Press Briefing the PMO has said, “Prime Minister Trudeau will meet with Chancellor Scholz in Montréal to advance our shared priorities, including our unwavering support for Ukraine, protecting peace and security in Europe and around the world, and addressing the broader global impacts of Russia’s illegal and unjustifiable invasion.”

Trudeau said Russia triggered a war in Ukraine. The pope and most scholars like Jeffrey Sachs and *John Joseph Mearsheimer say America, Canada and NATO partners provoked this war in Eastern Europe.

PM Trudeau and Chancellor Scholz will meet again on Sunday with Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck accompanying Olaf Scholz

NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg quickly rushes in 24 August to follow Berlin’s top politicians’ visit to Canada at the request of the white House. He will then make a report to Biden according to close sources.

“Germany and Canada are close friends on the world stage,” says the Canadian Prime Minister’s Office. “We are tied by our shared commitments to democracy, peace and security, including our support for Ukraine, a clean, healthy future, and an economy that works for people. I look forward to showing Chancellor Scholz what Canada has to offer, while we further strengthen our relationship, create jobs, and help grow the middle class in both countries.‎” said Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada in a lengthy statement explaining the visit.

But there is more to this than meets the eye. The PMO statement was partially prepared by White House staff say sources and this is all about the Biden administration leaning on both Canada and Germany about the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which could prevent a German winter energy catastrophe if certified as was intended in January but that was killed when Germany and the USA provoked Russia to invade Ukraine to prevent NATO expansion to its borders.

“Biden does not care about the suffering of the German people, and has protested the new pipeline for many years, all the while provoking war with Russia to end its energy dominance in Europe,” say US sources close to the matter who were not authorized to comment and requested anonymity.

NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg will quickly follow Berlin’s top politicians’ visit to Canada. In addition to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz,  Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck  will also tour Canada starting Sunday, looking for high-tech future solutions to German’s energy connundrum  including Canada’s wealth of hydrogen production technology.

At the request of the White House and on the heels of Chancellor Scholz’s visit to Canada, White House Sycophant Stoltenberg rushes into the country.

NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will rush to Canada and visit from Wednesday 24 August to Friday 26 August 2022. Mr. Stoltenberg will be hosted by Justin Trudeau. Together, they will visit one of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) sites, the Canadian High Arctic Research Station and Operation Nanook-Nunakput in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut on 25 August. Then, the next day, on 26 August, they will visit the Canadian Armed Forces base in Cold Lake, Alberta.

According to a NATO press release, during his Canada visit, the NATO Secretary General will also meet with other senior Canadian officials, as well as members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The political undercurrent in Germany aims at dragging the governing coalition to the Nord Stream 2 Liquid Natural Gas pipeline and starting deliveries direct from Russia, sparing a deadly winter for the German People. Who do you put first, Mr. German Politician—Joe Biden or your German constituents, freezing in the darkness?

“We should open Nord Stream 2 as soon as possible to fill our gas storage facilities for the winter,” said Wolfgang Kubicki, a senior German politician and deputy head of the Free Democratic Party said during a media interview on Friday.

Mr. Kubicki, who is also deputy speaker of the German parliament, according to his public service record, is not a Russia apologist but a practical public servant who favours solving constituent concerns rather than global political issues.  He said there “no sensible reason” not to certify and put Nord Stream 2 into service.

“Nord Stream AG is a joint venture of five reputable European energy companies, which has been successfully operating the Nord Stream I Pipeline for more than 10 years,” according to the corporation.

The picture and its story: In late July, Gazprom resumed gas shipments through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline after a short scheduled maintenance that should have been backed up by the Nord stream 2 line which Germany failed to certify under US Pressure in February 2022. This is a vital artery linking Russia’s vast gas reserves to Europe via Germany. Photo credit, screen capture from CNN live video. Read the full report.

Gas delivery via the Nord Stream I will be suspended for maintenance of the Trent 60 gas pumping unit from 31 August to 2 September 2022.  “After completion of the work and in the absence of technical malfunctions, the transit will be restored to the level of 33 million cubic meters per day, Gazprom has reported.

German Politician makes plea for Common Sense and for the safety of the German People

Deputy leader Kubicki’s plea for ‘common sense’ has not fallen on deaf ears as some fellow politicians screamed ‘bloody murder’ while others nodded their heads in private, according to one member of the Bundestag, the lower house of German government.

She agrees that Germany needs to solve its energy crisis as a higher priority than appeasing American pressure to fall in line against anything Russian. The source is familiar with the matter but not authorized by her party or the governing coalition to comment, and requested anonymity.

“Putting the people of Germany ahead of power politics is what goes through my mind. Keeping my constituents alive and warm this winter is what is going to be on my plate,” the source added.

Germany is facing a horrible winter of shortages without Russia’s Liquid Natural Gas which could be delivered on the new Nord Stream 2 Pipeline direct from Russia to northern Germany.

America will end Germany’s Nord Stream 2 Project says Biden. “We will bring an end to it,” said Biden. “I promise you will be able to do it,” he told a media briefing in January after he threatened Germany.

* Professor John Mearsheimer saw this Ukraine war coming.

“My argument is that the West, especially the United States, is principally responsible for this disaster. But no American policymaker, and hardly anywhere in the American foreign-policy establishment, is going to want to acknowledge that line of argument, and they will say that the Russians are responsible,” Mearsheimer has said since the Russian military operation that began 24 February 2022.

Most people do not realize the war in Ukraine has been going on for very many years. You can read Mearsheimer’s views on that going back to September 2014 seven months after the war actually began. Why the Ukraine Crisis Is the West’s Fault-John Mearsheimer.

Why is the Ukraine Crisis the West’s fault, by Professor John Mearsheimer, going back to the start of the war in 2014-2015.

Following the decision of ethnic Russians in Crimea to separate from Ukraine and rejoin the Russian Federation, John J. Mearsheimer, the R. Wendell Harrison Distinguished Service Professor in Political Science and Co-director of the Program on International Security Policy at the University of Chicago, assesses the causes of the present Ukraine crisis, the best way to end it, and its consequences for all of the main actors. “Why is the Ukraine Crisis the West’s fault?
