re-education of the people in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Northwest China. So far, there is no proof of wrongdoing.
Every time FPMag has asked the Chinese about this, the Chinese authorities show what looks like a crime prevention program. We recognize the problem because we have lost too many friends and co-workers in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan to psychopathic Salafist Jihadists. These are theologically backed murderers—in their own mind. Does that comprise what China saw when it decided to re-educate some populations?
A religion that has as its core theology, an encouragement for murder and misogyny, is a radical, murderous cult, not a love-based religion. The MAGA American cult is a problem.
In Albuquerque, New Mexico, four ambush-style killings of Muslim men happened over a nine-month period. That’s not crime prevention. That is crime. Why does America not see that? Another mass killing in America is nothing new?
If Chinese authorities identified a problem and solved it with re-education, it still sounds like a crime prevention exercise. There has been no proof of anything else.
If anyone knows a way to deal with malignant murderous societal problems in a population that comprises somewhere near one and a half billion people, it is still a theory. Beijing actually must do that job.
FPMag has heard from people held in re-training centers and their complaints stop one dead when they start speaking angrily about not being able to carry their sharp swords. To Americans, that sounds like someone trying to take away their AR-15s. Do the Americans really care? They kill Muslims in huge numbers as in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Africa.

Some history on the China reclaimed acres in the south China Sea
The South China Sea
China has militarized at least three of many islands it built in disputed South China Sea coral reef regions. The disputes in total come from Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Borneo, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia in varying degrees.
Philippines disharmony with China is a mute point like a brother-in-law who “took our sister away”. Technically, China has done nothing wrong in the real estate category, but it has used its foothold and its maritime militia to scare Philippines fisherfolk away from their traditional fishing grounds.
China occasionally makes emotional and even fanatical claims that rely on ancient heritage and law that nobody else understands but a few weeks study of regional history gives understanding but also an emphatic conclusion that the claims are fanatical.
“The man-made military islands must be demilitarized,” says a civil society group, but serving as an integrated regional peace-time search and rescue system might be acceptable by all the parties in the long term. (https://demilitarizesouthchinasea.org/ ).
Instead of making claims against six other countries, including China, about ownership of useless tidal real estate, the Philippines could partner in the management of all assets in a big or small way. The region needs more and better search and rescue posts for one thing. All parties could benefit. After all, it is the mutual territory of all the claimants if everyone won their argument or if no nation won the argument according to Law of the Sea Conventions.
The reason why that does not happen is because nobody really cares. The claims are just pointless noise with the exception of Vietnamese near-shore concerns, which may have interim solutions but perhaps will arise again with future governments.
Demilitarization is the key to solving all these disputes because the possibility exists that the militarized man-made islands are a potential threat to all of China’s neighbours, notwithstanding that China’s current government says that is somewhat preposterous because it is a peaceful nation, not a bully. Clearly, China is a bully just like America.
Whitsun Reef is not in the PH EEC according to former Philippines President Duterte and of all the rocks, reefs and seaweed knolls China has claimed and upgraded in the South China Sea to respond to American hegemony in the region all of those disputed assets are disputed by a half dozen or more nations, none of which have ever possessed the claimed quasi islands.
Possession is 9/10 of common law which makes China the de facto owner of what it claims. But its militarization of these man-made islands is at issue. Until the American side stands down from its militarization of the Asian Seas, China is able to claim the color of right. Get rid of the American presence and China must demilitarize the Asian Seas as well.
Nothing the USA says to Bongbong Marcos, the current leader of the Philippines, can be trusted. The USA relationship with the Marcos family is corrupted and always has been. The recent surprise visit by Antony Blinken to President Marcos who knew not what to say, received a ton of public disdain and public protests.
“The United States has no business in the Southeast Asian region,” said one netizen.
“President @bongbongmarcos and @SecBlinken highlighted achievements of the thriving U.S.-Philippines relationship and discussed ways to address common challenges. I am thrilled to do my part to ensure our strong and productive ties,” US Ambassador to Manila MaryKay Carlson tweeted. Photo credit: US Embassy in Manila. Photo is cropped.

Demilitarization of the Asian Seas
America’s tens of thousands of troops and weapons in the Asian Seas region should be sent home both in the spirit of demilitarization of the Asian Seas and to take care of America’s own issues like fighting massive floods; protecting Americans from raging forest fires; public insurrection; America’s waning water supply; fixing America’s disintegrating infrastructure; preventing mass deaths like the massacre of 19 Hispanic children in Uvalde while cops stood around and watched the murders; ending the massacre of Blacks and Asians in every city; preventing daily mass shootings; fixing a health care system that kills the elderly because they cannot afford diabetic and other chronic medical needs; and finding or building homes for the dozens of millions of Americans living on sidewalks of inner cities and under bridges across the country.
China has an ancient culture with elements the world does not understand. Many are worth learning because they have led to a peaceful life. Others need to be discarded as Flat-Earth mentality.
China has a culture that is steeped in brilliance but also a few historical belief errors the rest of the world escaped by being young or forgot because they made no sense.
There are a few currently important examples. The fanatical nine-dash line is an absurdity. The ensuing claims of ownership of the Spratly Islands and Scarborough Shoal make no sense, but the Chinese claim is less irrational than the many others. Uniquely, the case of the Paracels is a split judgment because the islands are equidistant between China and Vietnam. Not everyone can own these almost-islands but there must be a formula for agreement, or nobody is entitled to ownership therefore under United Nations standards, everyone shares the real estate.
China’s marginalizing women and failing to build leadership with a gender balance has created an unchallenged patriarch with testosterone leading the charge, not common sense.

China is missing a balance that gender equality would provide
In ancient times, as today, China was a patriarchal society like those of its neighbours. Females were expected to be obedient and virtuous.
But gender equality provides a balance of calm, intelligence and unique ways of crisis management and dispute resolution.
The Benefits of Gender Equality Are Far Reaching & Comprehensive
According to a McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) report, “a best in region scenario in which all countries match the rate of improvement of the fastest-improving country in their region could add as much as $12 trillion, or 11 percent, in annual 2025 GDP.
In a full potential scenario in which women play an identical role in labour markets to that of men, as much as $28 trillion, or 26 percent, could be added to global annual GDP by 2025. MGI’s full-potential estimate is about double the average estimate of other recent studies, reflecting the fact that MGI has taken a more comprehensive view of gender inequality in work”.
Readers probably heard of Traditional and Simplified Chinese characters, but did not know there is another way to write Chinese?
Nüshu (女书), or “women’s script” was developed by Chinese women in the 19th century in Jiangyong Prefecture, Hunan Province. Forbidden from formal education, these women invented their own handwriting to share information with other women, write songs and poems, and communicate. Outsiders did not know about this script until the 1980s.
The last person to be proficient in nüshu excluding scholars who learn the script in order to study it, was Yang Huanyi, who lived in Jiangyong county. She died in 2004, at the age of 98.
