They are too fearful to say, “No”?

“About one hundred and sixty black-clad women attended a pro Taliban lecture at Shaheed Rabbani Education University in Kabul, Afghanistan on Saturday. They then took to the streets to rally in favour of the Taliban, some saying that the previous government only accepted pretty women in positions of authority and picked pretty girls to work in television,” reports Gracie Edwards, an FPM.news correspondent in Afghanistan.

“There seems to be gender-equality in that,” said Katie Alsop, a founding director of the RINJ global feminist group.

“Both men and women are selected as TV anchors by producers and senior station and network executives on the basis of their looks. They then teach them to talk if need be,” she added facetiously.

“The choreographed event followed a series of extremely violent attacks on protesting women, Wednesday and Thursday,” say witnesses from Kabul.

“The women marched through the streets of Kabul carrying small signs saying, ‘Our rights are safe in Islam,’ in Arabic and English,” said Gracie Edwards, corresponding to FPM.news.

Witnesses say that on Wednesday the protesting women were stopped, lashed with whips, and beaten and shocked with tazer wands.  “They struck my shoulder twice. I could feel pain all over my body. It still hurts and I can’t move my arm,”  said one woman to the BBC. “They also used a lot of bad words and abused us. It’s too shameful for me to repeat the names they called us.”

The Wednesday protestors were asking for gender equality and complaining that there were no women whatsoever in the Taliban government, only solo, Taliban and al Qaeda terrorists, “some with international bounties on their heads,” said one woman.

“We were all beaten. I was also hit. They told us to go home saying that’s where a woman’s place is,” said another woman.

One Talib told correspondent Gracie Edwards that the only purpose women have on the Earth, is giving birth to men’s children.
