Experts: Omicron suspect in few breakouts. S-Africa likely not source

“Data anomalies in several places around the world in the past two months indicate the presence of a somewhat immune-evasive SARS-CoV-2 variant. So far, and it is early by a few weeks, and assuming as indicators suggest that Omicron has been around since September, there is no indication of a change in case fatality rates except a downward trend among the vaccinated.

“Omicron, a suspicious SARS-CoV-2 variant with over 30 spike protein mutations, is suspected in globally distributed outbreaks ahead of Africa, heretofore blamed on north hemisphere winter,”  says a biostatistician team-lead in Singapore.

“South Africa may not be the Omicron source. It was first identified in Botswana but most of the world has been lax in genomic surveillance implies the World Health Organization. Please put an end to the recriminatory actions at the airports, and start fighting the disease at the population level,” says a respected infectious disease researcher, Dr. Fred Harris.

“As Dr. Anthony Fauci  said yesterday on US TV networks, ‘we do not know much of anything about this variant’,” cautioned Dr. Harris.

Dr. Jonathan Reiner, a renown medical practitioner (Professor of Medicine at GWU) and academic said in a  CNN interview yesterday, words to the effect that in his view CDC genomic efforts were ineffectual inasmuch as they are not getting done, and that America does not know if the Omicron variant is in the USA or not. This confirms what other doctors have said but “in keeping with the career danger from the politically correct enforcement regime of the Biden administration“, wish to be anonymous.

Dr. Peter Hotez, a dean at Baylor College of Medicine, said that travel bans “have not been very effective” during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“At the very beginning, we talked about travel bans from China. In the meantime, this virus entered into the United States from Southern Europe to ignite that horrible epidemic in New York City that started in March and April,” Dr. Hotez said.

Why has America failed so badly in protecting Americans from a devastating impact of COVID-19? Why does the world follow such a bad example, a more important challenge?

America led the world in 3 very bad infectious-disease doctrines:

  • travel bans against targeted foreign nationals,
  • vaccine hording, while
  • leading the antivaxxing movement starting from the Trump White House.

“America has failed to intelligently address the COVID-19 pandemic and the world is following its horrendously deadly example. In a knee jerk reaction, America’s government  is blocking African travelers, turning Africans into PNG targets of hate, while killing more of its own people than any nation on Earth. Do not follow the American example,” urges, Dr. Nassima al Amouri, a Middle East medical director for a global NGO.

South Africa is the country that did the science but not the source,” say CSPAC.net biostatisticians and infectious disease researchers.

In this graph below is just one example. Cases go up fast and CFR drops fast where vaccinations approach 90% or more. This is the key to success coupled with N-95 mask wearing. The fight needs to be won soon or the human race is in very serious trouble, says a signed statement of a number of doctors, (handed to FPM.news with release limitations in response to a recent article), who intend to approach the WHO with a funding ultimatum, ‘get to work fearlessly or be replaced’.

  1. “The Netherlands nears 90% full vaccination of 0ver-18 citizens but cases rise by 25%, 500,000, in three to five weeks of October / November.
  2. “There are other countries showing similar growth in cases while there is a global decline, due to increased vaccination levels, in CFR,
  3. “South Africa may be lagging this scenario. Possibly a reverse scenario from what the pandemic-management-failing US White House suspects occurred when two students among nearly 80 university students now infected, from Pretoria, who may have brought the disease back to South Africa in September, but not all data is known and may never be known,” says expert infectious disease researchers in Singapore, on behalf of Civil Society Partners.

“By Sunday 21 November, it is estimated that more than 24.3 million vaccinations had been administered in the Netherlands. More than 13.2 million of those were first vaccinations, and more than 11.1 million were second vaccinations. It is estimated that 88.5% of all people over 18 have received at least one vaccination, and 84.9% are fully vaccinated. According to estimates, 86.7% of all people over 12 years old have now received at least one vaccination, and 83.0% are fully vaccinated.” According to reports of Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en MilieuMinisterie van Volksgezondheid,
Welzijn en Sport.

“Coincidentally, the Netherlands has now said that it will begin checking genomics as Case Fatality rates Plummet and several Omicron cases first detected in numerous European locations.”

*A word-of-mouth source from a single official indicates these numbers have now reached nearly 90%.

“Excellent science should be applauded and not punished,” urges a South African health ministry statement.

“Africa figured what was going on with a strange surge in cases in the provinces, particularly the hub province of Gauteng, but it may be true a Pretoria University student in early fall went home to America, another to the Netherlands and came back with the virus variant now known as Omicron,” says biostatistician Kathy Poon from Singapore during a follow-up interview to FPM.news‘s article, “Emergency. Omicron spreads wildly according to biostatisticians“.

“Supporting that hypothesis is the massive increases in cases in the Netherlands despite nearly 90% vaccination levels, and in America where vaccinations are not as high and cases are rising faster. But America and Holland have not been doing genomic surveillance, probably assuming with reasonable probability that the prevalent pathogen is the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2,” she said.
