Gaza deaths now include 15 kids and 5 women civilians in their homes.

“The fact of there being over a dozen Gaza children and five women killed in their homes implies that the Israeli Air Force is bombing the unarmed civilians in their homes of the Gaza strip,” a RINJ Women spokesperson, Geraldine Frisque wrote in an email response to FPM.news written questions asking her to respond to the Israeli side which has claimed it only bombs Hamas targets.

The RINJ women’s rights group has filed complaints to the United Nations and the International Criminal Court against Benjamin Netanyahu and his government in Israel for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

“I note with great concern the escalation of violence in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as well as in and around Gaza, and the possible commission of crimes under the Rome Statute,” Fatou Bensouda, Prosecutor for the International Criminal Court said on Twitter hours ago.

Later in a Zoom interview, Ms. Frisque said, “It is hard to expect that aerial bombing of a 365 square kilometers strip of residences for 1.9 million Palestinian Arabs and Jews has any military connotation whatsoever. This is an oppressed community subjected to ethnic cleansing by Israel.  More than half the population lives in poverty; 70% of the kids are undernourished according to the UN; the population suffers electricity shortages regularly; the population suffers food insecurity; all this after 14 years of travel blockades by Israel.”

Bias:  In 2018 Ms. Frisque wrote in an article on the RINJ website, “When Israeli Occupying Forces (IOF) were ordered to launch reprisals for peaceful demonstrations against civilian women and children, they opened a crack in the gates of hell upon themselves.  This needs to be stopped before the lid blows off Pandora’s Box. Stopping the abuse alone will not suffice, but ending the occupation and returning Palestine to its people will start the process of healing and rebuilding relationships around the world.”

Plumes of smoke over Gaza hover over residences bombed by Israel

Plumes of smoke are seen pouring from the Gaza strip at noon local time as the Palestinian health minister reports 44 residential deaths including 15 children and five women during the Israeli aerial bombing of the small residential region along the Mediterranean coast.

Israel reports 5 deaths from Hamas rockets fired from Gaza locations. Hamas has fired hundreds of rockets into Israel.

Israel’s large Air Force has been bombing Gaza residential buildings, a media building and a police station according to Israeli sources and official statements according to the Palestine authorities and health care witnesses on the ground in Gaza.

According to a Palestinian web site, the Palestinian National Security Forces are the paramilitary security forces of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA). This includes almost all National Security Forces apart from the Presidential Guard, Interior Security Forces and General Intelligence. Other than that, Palestine does not have a navy or an air force. It has no warships or airplanes.

Israel is a nuclear-armed nation according to US and British sources and in the case of the civilians of Gaza and Jerusalem it is by far the mightier military force.

The United Nations office of the Secretary General has issued a perfunctory statement on 11 May urging ‘restraint’. This statement follows a 9 May 2021 statement before hostilities began.

9 May 2021 UN statement before hostilities began: “Israeli authorities must exercise maximum restraint and respect the right to freedom of peaceful assembly.  All leaders have a responsibility to act against extremists and to speak out against all acts of violence and incitement.  The Secretary-General urges that the status quo at the holy sites be upheld and respected.”

UN Secretary General Statement released by the United Nations: “The UN Secretary-General is gravely concerned by the serious escalations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Israel, including the latest escalation in Gaza, which add to the heightened tensions and violence in occupied East Jerusalem.
“He is deeply saddened to learn of increasingly large numbers of casualties, including children, from Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, and of Israeli fatalities from rockets launched from Gaza.
“The Secretary-General’s thoughts are with the families of the victims.
Israeli security forces must exercise maximum restraint and calibrate their use of force. The indiscriminate launching of rockets and mortars towards Israeli population centres is unacceptable.” Photo Credit: UN file Photo

Israel is bombing houses, residential apartment buildings, a Palestinian Police station, a media building and FPM.news has confirmed on the ground that these buildings are exactly as described and not “military installations”.

The United Nations says it fears the current bombing of Gaza could result in all-out war as other nations come to the aid of Palestinians.

“This skirmish began as an act of ethnic cleansing that Benjamin Netanyahu began in Jerusalem, clearing out Palestinian Arabs from Jerusalem to make way for Israeli Jewish settlers as a major distraction from his criminal prosecution here in Israel and an investigation of his alleged war crimes by the International Criminal Court,” notes Israeli security consultant, Simon Baldock, from Jerusalem.

Israel has been firing warning shots into residential apartment buildings before bombing them in what appears to be a deliberate dislocation of ordinary Palestinians as it was going in Jerusalem in an organized ethnic cleansing of Jerusalem, claims the Palestinian side.

Both sides are threatening to escalate the violence in response to each other. Hamas has been firing barrages of rockets. An Israeli father and daughter were killed last night by a rocket in Tel Aviv raising the death count to 5 on the Israeli side.

“A sad story of ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people, we are absolutely convinced, from their occupied territories by an ungoverned Israel overridden by right-wing extremists who seem to believe they have impunity for their actions,” says Geraldine Frisque, spokesperson for The RINJ Foundation which reports over 100 members among frontline health care workers in Palestine and Israel.

“Hamas began rocket attacks on Israel as the Palestinian Authority was foiled in its efforts to protest and stop the evictions of Palestinian Arabs from their homes in Jerusalem, something Netanyahu was organizing in order to allow the taking of these homes by Jewish Israeli settlers. This ‘ethnic cleansing’ of Jerusalem has been protested by the United Nations and has followed the 2018 American relocation of its embassy to Jerusalem on 14 May 2018,” noted the RINJ Women spokesperson.
