Biden administration flies targeting aircraft over Donetsk PR. Artillery rains down on civilians

According to locals in the Donetsk region capitol, supported by considerable data set out in this article, America and Ukraine are actively at war against the civilians of Luhansk and Donetsk who eight years ago, as Russians isolated for decades by the breakup of the Soviet Union,  decided to exercise their right to self-determination, separated from the Ukraine during the tumultuous Ukraine revolution. They are independent nations today on the Russian border despite USA, NATO and Ukraine’s military attacks, killing civilians, say the locals.

Some 14,000 people have been killed and nearly a million displaced as Ukraine fought unsuccessfully trying to stop these ordinary people, mostly disorganized, claimed their right to self determination and vacated the Ukrainian cesspool of corruption and American interference, they say.

Violence against Donetsk PR and Luhansk PR continues. Civilians are “fed up and want nothing to do with the Americans, NATO members or Ukraine”, the say. They hope to be able to visit their immediate and extended families across the Russian border. East-West talks are scheduled for 12 January 2022 if not earlier.

On Monday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Sergey Lavrov stated that the main round of the Russia-US talks on security will take place immediately after the New Year holidays. Minister Lavrov said, according to Russian news agency Tass, “the timeline of the talks is important for Moscow, adding that delaying them is unacceptable despite Moscow setting no ultimatums on this issue.” Minister Lavrov also underscored that Washington is the main negotiator on the issue of security guarantees.

Russia has set out that it needs security guarantees that would end the alleged hegemonism of NATO on Russian borders in Eastern Europe, according to numerous releases from the Kremlin.

“Americans and Ukrainians are together shelling Canadians in Donetsk PR and this can no longer stand,” explains Geraldine Frisque of RINJ Women who have several chapters of their organization in the Donbass region.

“We know that there are thousands of American troops attacking civilians in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, bordering Russia. American military targeting aircraft are flying overhead, looking for artillery targets and allegedly reporting on what targets have been hit by American and Ukraine artillery guns and missiles. I hope they tell the truth that they are hitting civilian homes. But remember, this is the same system that has killed thousands of civilians including the August mass murder of seven children in Kabul, and the civilian slaughters in Syria, Donetsk and Luhansk,” she added.

Shelling of civilian neighborhoods is coincidentally happening concomitantly with the sightings of American targeting aircraft.

Members of the RINJ Women global civil society NGO in Donetsk PR and Luhansk PR are reporting continued artillery shelling over Christmas season, supported by American spy planes flying overhead.

Does the White House believe nobody knows what its military is doing in the Donbass Region?

Following America’s blocking of Russian Television (RT) in Europe, America is flying military missions violating regional airspace of Luhansk People’s Republic, Donetsk PR, Russia and other nations. The aircraft involved appear to by aerial surveillance, target acquisition, tracking and targeting, say locals as artillery shells rain down from American and Ukraine troops in the Ukraine, through the Christmas season.

But it was America which withdrew from the Open Skies Treaty

While truth about activities on the ground anywhere should not be withheld or blocked, the vacated Open Skies Treaty sought to make sure that unarmed aircraft had access to information on the ground and that access data would be shared by treaty members.

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on the Beginning of Domestic Procedures for the Withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the Treaty on Open Skies

“On November 22, 2020 the United States of America withdrew from the Treaty on Open Skies under an artificial pretext. This essentially destroyed the balance of interests of the State-Parties reached when the Treaty was signed, inflicted a severe damage to its functioning and undermined the role of the Open Skies Treaty as a confidence and security building measure.

“The Russian side put forward specific proposals consistent with the fundamental provisions of the Treaty aimed at preserving its viability under the new circumstances. We state with regret that they found no support on the part of the US allies.

“Due to the lack of progress in eliminating the hindrances for further functioning of the Treaty under the new circumstances, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is authorized to declare the beginning of domestic procedures for the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the Treaty on Open Skies. Upon their completion, the respective notification will be sent to the Depositaries.” Citing Russian Federation Foreign Affairs Ministry Statement.
